Wealden Racing have been racing their MKII Cosworth Powered Escort successfully for the past 12 years which has seen driver Craig Rainer take Class Honours four times in the Ford Saloon Car Championship, taking the championship crown outright in 2002. In 2009 Wealden Racing started a new chapter and created the Blue Oval Saloon Series running with the Classic Touring Car Club.

Wealden Racing have enjoyed exposure from national magazines such as Classic Ford, Performance Ford and Fast Ford, local press and national shows such as Max Power Live, at Birmingham’s NEC drawing interest from many quarters.
